The idea
horizontal-tb is the default writing mode, and it is the value you reach for to *undo* a vertical mode. Setting it explicitly resets the flow so text runs left-to-right and lines stack top-to-bottom again.
This level needs writing-mode. transform is off-limits: rotating the text would fake the reset without teaching you the property that restores the flow.
